Live and let live
Surely the best type of family for children is one where they are wanted, loved and cared for.
It really doesn’t matter if the parents are black or white, in their 20s or 50s, have red hair or brown, have piercings or not, are same sex or heterosexual. I could go on for pages as to how we are all different.
Being different is a great thing and it has no bearing on how we raise our children. As long as they are truly loved then I believe everything else will fall into place.
Why do we feel the need to tell people how to live their lives? Why don’t we just get on with our own lives, perhaps examining our own consciences?
Of all the things that consume time in our lives, is worrying about whom another person might love really a great concern?
Why don’t these people put more energy into thinking about hatred, war, poverty, hunger, and how we might positively influence other lives? Or perhaps just smell the roses.
More questions than answers here today!
However I’ll finish with live and let live; make love, not war.
